Born from a conceptual photography series, this artwork traces the imagined journey of a ghostly skeleton who once wandered near an abandoned slaughterhouse in my hometown in Virginia. Through texture, imagery, and natural elements, Ghost Girl Lost in the Woods captures a narrative both eerie and tender—a meditation on loss, transformation, and the quiet presence of what lingers unseen.

The handwoven textile incorporates vintage photo contact sheets and film strips, seamlessly integrated with soft cotton, silk, and a real tree branch—blurring the lines between artifact and imagination, nature and the afterlife.
